From 28th to 30th November 2022, three members of the OZONE4WATER consortium (Vítor Vilar, Paulo Marrocos and Mateus Pituco) attended the IOA Conference & Exhibition, EA3G2022, held in Toulouse, France. This conference is an international forum for discussion on the state of the art in scientific development and technical solutions regarding the application of ozone-based technologies on the environmental and climate sectors, towards a sustainable economy. The OZONE4WATER team contributed to this conference with three research works entitled “Gas-Liquid Pressure Drop of Downward Flows in NETmix Static Mixer: Experimental Validation of Computational Fluid Dynamics Model”, “Reduced-Order Modelling Approach Based on Computational Fluid Dynamics to Predict Gas Hold-up in Micro/Meso Structured Static Mixers”, and “NETmix Technology as Ozone Gas Injection System: Assessment of the Gas-Liquid Mass Transfer”.
Paulo Marrocos was awarded with the best oral presentation, with the work entitled “Reduced-Order Modelling Approach Based on Computational Fluid Dynamics to Predict Gas Hold-up in Micro/Meso Structured Static Mixers”.
